Self defense for women's

 

 

Self defense is the ability to protect yourself  in different situations against one ore more attacker. As a woman in such a unpleasent situation you have to do whatever is possible, to defend yoursel and to return home healthy and alive. So, this means, that self defense is actually every action, whether it is the ability to deescalate the verbal conflict which has the potential to get to the physical level, as well as protecting yourself with self defense techniques in fight on the street against man, who want to take your money or to hurt you.


In our gym we try to teach self defense for women in a holistic way. This is how our training routine looks like:

The beginning of the lesson: starts with verbal self defense, because before a conflict  gets physical it often starts with argueing, so therefore it is a big advantage to know how to calm down such a verbal situation with certain verbal techniques. If you can deescalate the conflict in this phase, you have successfully avoid the next potetial level, the physical  level. This is why verbal self defense teaches you also how to say NO without the feelings of guilt in situations, when people try to manipulate you.  

 

 

The core of the training lesson: consists of learning how to use your body in a proper way in self defense situations. The body is like a big tool, if you don't know how to use it, the tool is useless. It is the same with your body in self defense situations, if you don't know how to use it, it is completle useless. In our gym you will learn how to use your body, your tool in the most effective way. 

 

 

This part doesn't consist only of techniques it consists also of a lot of partner drills, breathing techniques, as well as dealing with stress under the conditions of physical conflicts. 

 

Followed by the technical part of the exercises, where the techniques adapted to women's constitution. The techniques you will be taught are extremely simple, direct and effective, this means no acrobatic or complex techniques, which usually take up a lot of your valuable time and in the end prove themselves useless under stressful conditions, but only the simple and easily executed ones.

 

Simple - because they represent natural and spontaneous movements already familiar to you
Direct - because they are not consisting in useless and choreographic elements
Effective - because you target only the most sensitive and vulnerable body parts.

 

 

Our main goal is not to teach you how to collect gold medals on tournaments, our main goal is to teach you how to survive on the street, when you are involved in a street fight. If you return home safe, healthy and alive, we know, that we have done our job well.   

 

 

If anyone tries to harm you or your loved ones you will use any force or means necessary to protect yourselves and ensure their safety.  It is your PREROGATIVE to do so because no one has the right to threaten or molest you in any kind of way.
