:: Robert Lisac

His journey in the martial arts began in 1983 with the entry to the club Judokai Basel, where he trained under the guidance of master Robert Danis (3. dan). After several years of training judo, he defeated the Yugoslavian champion in 1988 in his category at a judo tournament in Maribor.

1991 he received bronze medal (3. Place) at the Swiss championship in Judo in the 65kg category.

In 1997, he started to coach wing chun kung fu and in the same year he had a demonstration of martial arts at the international Taekwondo competition in Litija.  
  

 

 


 

In 1999, he was very active in the martial arts world:  
  
- Participation at the event SAMURAI NIGHT, where he and his team had a presentation of wing chun kung fu,  
- Invited to Germany to hold a groundfighting seminar.  
  
In 2000 he reached the 11th student level of Wing Chun Kung Fu. A year later, he earned the judo black belt in Izola, in 2002 he founded together with Robert Simonič and Franjo Pinter the "laboratory" where these masters of different martial arts looked for the the most functional techniques and combat principles.  
In 2001 he started spreading, then in Slovenia still unknown, Vale Tudo / Freefight in cooperation with Matjaž Hrovatvand Simon Zajc.  
In 2003 he participated at the first free fight seminar in Slovenia (Maribor-Stephen, Barada) and also at the first informal seminar and competition in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which was organized by the Academy for self-defense. The same year he attended the seminar "Defending against the knife", which was led by Robert Simonič, master of Karate and founder of the fighting system called PROTECTION (Zaščita). In 2004 he attended at the 3-day seminar in Savate in Kočevje.
2008, 2009 teaching as a mma coach for FIGHT CLUB LJUBLJANA. 


Between 2005 and 2009, the club DNOBM under the guidance of chief instructor Aljoša Gorup expanded its program adding STREET GRAPPLING to their curriculum.
